Clique Media Group, CMG - parent company to WhoWhatWear.com, MyDomaine.com, Byrdie.com, and Obsessee— is seeking a Creative Director to join our Branded team in Los Angeles! We are seeking a talented and inspiring leader, who has undeniable design skills and a passion for telling great visual stories. The ideal candidate will also have experience working with brands and agencies, as well as a strong understanding of how to seamlessly create Branded Content for a Publisher studio.

This position is located in Los Angeles, CA, and reports to the GM, Client Services.



What You’ll Do:

Provide innovative, compelling, and strategic creative direction for all Branded Content work across all CMG properties, maintaining brand integrity while meeting client goals
Manage, motivate, and mentor the Branded Content Creative team which is made up of a team of graphic designers, as well as oversee the Associate Creative Director, Branded Content
Work in partnership with the Executive Editorial Director to oversee the quality of the department’s work
Collaborate, brainstorm and execute custom native content concepts, and ideate new and innovative concepts for native advertising
Work closely with Production Team on photo and video shoot execution
Provide on set creative direction that will result in brand appropriate assets that meet client objectives
Partner with INF Network team to implement and manage brand guidelines and image best practices for the network
Work with Marketing and Sales teams on pre-sale, creative “concepting” for client pitches
Ensure correct execution of all Branded Content work by Client Services team
Work with the Product team to continuously ideate on-site and mobile optimized experiences that drive engagement and meet client and editorial needs
Work directly with the Executive Creative Director of Brands to ensure all work is brand appropriate, and properly conveying a balanced partnership between CMG and clients
What You Have:

7+ years of brand creative experience developing and executing integrated and innovative marketing campaigns
5+ years of experience leading creative teams to drive breakthrough results
Ability to perform in a fast-paced, start-up style environment, think quickly, strategically and creatively to meet short deadlines
Art direction background with expertise in “concepting” and directing shoots for multiple platform applications
Strong aesthetic that leverages the CMG brand in relevant and distinctive expressions
Creative portfolio of results oriented work that shows a diversity of experience across both online and offline media and retail channels
Strong business acumen, with a solid understanding of how to achieve business objectives while meeting an expected brand standard and high bar for aesthetic quality
Experience working directly with leading global brands and agencies
Passion and experience creating engaging digital content with proven results
An understanding of how to balance the importance of creating engaging content that people love, with the need to reach campaign goals and match brand guidelines
Strong management skills
