The Senior Director of Sales Planning & Yield Management will lead all yield functions on the Ad Product & Operations team, responsible for packaging inventory and development of pricing strategies direct and programmatic sales. Through leadership, creativity and insights, the Senior Director will evaluate new and existing ad products and packaging strategies, providing direction on margin management, audience monetization, programmatic partnerships, and alternate revenue opportunities. This role will work closely with Sales Leadership, Ad Operations, Ad Product and external technology partners. Both daily and long term responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities:

Manage, lead and grow a team responsible for sales planning, inventory, and yield management across direct sales and programmatic.
Provide direction on packaging opportunities and product catalog development, driving yield decisions and revenue to achieve and exceed revenue goals.
Develop and deploy tactics to increase CPMs across the digital portfolio
Collaborate with Sales to ensure they have all tools and information necessary to win business
Develop and distribute weekly, monthly, and quarterly inventory and revenue reporting to senior leadership team, generally expanding the yield management metrics and reporting capacity. This may include inventory, pricing, under-delivery, and trafficking accuracy.
Expand yield KPIs, reporting capabilities and dashboard development
Qualifications:

BA/BS preferred with strong academic record
6+ years of digital media experience
Strong analytical, decision-making and problem solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to use data to inform sales strategies
Knowledge of client services, ad serving and programmatic technologies.
Solid understanding of digital advertising metrics and the current industry trends
Familiarity with DSM, DFP, FreeWheel and Google Analytics
Smart and quick proactive learner with organizational agility and strong attention to detail.
