Leads process improvement initiatives through the disciplined use of measurements, accountability, analysis and discussion of process alternatives in order to arrive at best practices. Plans, manages, and controls the activities of a team that provides operational support for a business segment, group or team. Brings expertise or identifies subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts in process improvement, data capture and analysis, infrastructure support, tool ownership and compliance with procedures, etc. Advises business groups by providing strategic direction to initiative prioritization, integration and resource application. Ensures that policies and procedures align with corporate vision. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel ensuring efficient operation of the function.
Projects will include:
Evaluation of industry trends to develop implications and recommend strategies
Development of customer strategies
Identification of business implications associated with regulatory environment
Evaluation of new business opportunities
New market analysis and entry strategies
Creation of new customer initiatives drawing on an integrated offering across multiple business units
Evaluation of new technologies
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
6+ years experience, at least five of which is in project management
Critical Skills
8 years experience in corporate strategy, developing profitable growth opportunities
Qualitative and quantitative analytical/financial analysis abilities, good judgment, and excellent problem solving skills.
Experience at a management consulting firm highly preferred
Functional experience in strategic planning, consulting, finance, mergers & acquisitions, or healthcare operations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the confidence and polish to routinely interact with an executive level audience
Additional Knowledge & Skills
MBA preferred
Ability to prioritize among competing priorities
A history successfully engaging internal and external stakeholders (at various levels and across functions) on transformational new ideas; adept at moving senior management to action
Healthcare experience preferred
Education
4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience. Graduate degree desirable.
