Global Media Operations seeks a highly qualified candidate for the position of Director, Operations Strategy. This position will support the GMO business by managing a program of strategic projects.
Responsibilities include:
Direct oversight of digital media operations strategy and business initiatives
Manage portfolio of digital media projects
Watch: Career Advice Establish success metrics and KPIs, and provide support to help leaders of the various brands and business units meet or exceed them.
Anticipate key operational trends, opportunities and vulnerabilities, evaluate new operational workflow, and lead analysis for prospective operations changes and workflow updates
Work collaboratively with operations and business units to identify and help execute strategic goals and objectives.
Supervise all required analyses; process, reliability, market, operational, feasibility
Create business plans for various digital strategic initiatives and new business ventures.
Partner with operations and engineering to implement operations changes
Provide regular report-outs to executive leadership team on project progress and process results
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related field
Minimum 8 years experience in the technology or media industry, with a proven track record in successful project management with cross-functional teams demonstrating superb planning and organizational skills
Minimum 8 years experience of successful project execution with cross-functional teams demonstrating successful planning and organizational skills
Minimum 8 years experience in a role demonstrating strong technical, quantitative, or analytical skills
Minimum 8 years experience in a role exhibiting excellent written and oral communications, effective interpersonal skills, and project management
Minimum 6 years managing a team of direct reports
Minimum 2 years in management consulting, leadership program, strategic planning, and/or project management in Media & Entertainment
Desired Characteristics
Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
8 years+ experience working with video distribution in a Film or TV Broadcast environment
Experience leading global teams & programs
Experience in process improvement and organizational change management
Strong analytical problem solving skills
Detail oriented, clear thinking and adept at multi-tasking
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements
Passion for new media distribution and keeping up to date with emerging platforms and the latest technology trends
Intellectual curiosity and passion for the media and entertainment space
