Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Years of Experience: 8
Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Certification(s) Required: CPA, Society of Human Resources Professional, or CCP
Degree(s) Preferred: Juris Doctorate, MBA, or Master's degree in Taxation
Knowledge Preferred:
Extensive knowledge of design, regulatory, compliance, financial reporting and technical aspects of compensation arrangements in either a major law-firm, consulting or corporate environment.
Thorough knowledge of domestic and global governmental compliance programs and qualified and non-qualified benefit programs, and experience with financial analysis.
Considerable knowledge of tax and/or accounting policy research, analysis and working with complex tax and accounting issues.
Skills Preferred:
Extensive technical skills in a wide array of compensation and benefit matters including; qualified and non-qualified plans, executive compensation and health & welfare arrangements.
Thorough experience identifying and addressing client needs: developing and sustaining deep client relationships using networking, negotiation and persuasion skills to identify and sell potential new service opportunities; preparing and presenting complex written and verbal materials; and defining resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collection.
Thorough experience as a team leader: leading teams to generate a vision, establish direction and motivate members, create an atmosphere of trust, leverage diverse views, coach staff, and encourage improvement and innovation.
