We are a looking for a Leader for our Technical Talent Acquisition Team as we grow in support of our business. The successful candidate will bring strong business acumen, depth of technical recruitment strategy and experience, a passion for building teams and developing people, and the ability to form strong partnerships with business customers and partners to this role. You’ll be a big thinker who also knows how to dive into the details of your business; you’ll know how to optimize process, have an appetite for experimentation, and motivate your teams to strive for excellence in delivery. In this role, you’ll focus your team on understanding the rapidly evolving talent marketplace, build sourcing strategies focused on building long term relationships with technical talent and relentlessly pursue improving candidate experience. This is a key leadership role that will provide the successful candidate with growth in business, recruitment, and people leadership skills.

Specifically, this position will:
· Lead a team of technical recruiters and coordinators, in support of a rapidly growing engineering organization distributed across multiple sites.
· Own the creation of staffing strategies and be responsible for partnering with your business to execute and deliver against plan.
· Measure the success of the function, using data and analytics to audit and adjust to optimize performance.
· Develop talent on the team; build a team of talent advisors and look down the road to ensure the team has the competencies and capabilities to adapt to our ever changing, growing business.
· Contribute across the entire Operations and Customer Service HR organization, as well as across Amazon’s Global Talent Acquisition team.
Basic Qualifications

8+ years of experience in talent acquisition, human resources, or related business experience
3+ years of people management experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent post-secondary degree is required
Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated success building, leading and retaining large, multi-site recruiting teams within high growth organizations
5 + years of experience leading technical recruitment, strong understanding of the complexities involved in recruiting software engineers and technical talent
Ability to thrive in a fast paced, results-driven environment while modeling Amazon’s Leadership Principles.
Proven success within large and complex organizations, building collaborative partnerships with customers and partners
Highly influential talent advisor who can recommend and successfully implement talent acquisition strategies
Skilled at leveraging data and metrics to analyze productivity and optimize results of recruitment function
Well versed in all facets relating to recruitment including but not limited to: employment branding, diversity and inclusion, immigration and mobility, recruiting systems and technology, compensation and benefits, and employment law.
Excellent written and verbal communication
Able to travel when appropriate
