Description of Position
The Corporate Strategy Office is composed of a team of Directors who are senior strategists addressing the top corporate and business strategy issues and opportunities facing the company. These issues include market participation choices; development and exploitation of corporate competitive advantages; mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures; resource allocation across the portfolio; management process; change management initiatives and broadly developing the long term future direction of the corporation.


Corporate Strategy Directors frequently team together on projects to address both corporate and business unit level issues, supported by a team of Strategy Analysts, Market Analysts, Competitive Analysts and/or Strategy Managers.

This position is focused on developing Xerox’s long-term corporate strategy including portfolio development, resource allocation / major investment choices, identification of and response to industry and competitive trends, mergers & acquisitions options, and divestitures considerations.

Desired Skills and Experience
Essential Functions:

· Able to structure and lead high-value-at-stake strategic projects with minimal guidance from the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO).

· Effective at enlisting the support of Senior Leaders (including the CSO) to gain appropriate project sponsorship and core team member support as well as ultimately buy-in into the recommendations.

· Able to leverage broad & deep understanding of the organization and strategic challenges to identify potential new high-value projects.

· Able to organize, structure and create cross functional / regional efforts.

· An effective coach/mentor as well as a role model to managers and analysts.· Strong track record of success in influencing & being a change agent

.· Relevant subject matter expertise (within technology intensive industries) would include product development expertise, supply chain management, technical service and channel / sales force management.

· Excellent written and oral communications skills.
