Responsibilities
Own product definition, from vision and roadmapto detailed product requirements for a set of cloud services
Drive product strategy and direction that alignswith customer expectations and creatively leverages engineering resources
Work closely with Engineering and Operations tocontinuously deliver high quality features at a fast pace
Collaborate intensively with other Oracleproduct teams and/or partners to deliver cohesive products and services
Drive production adoption and usage
Be the customer advocate inside the company
Run effective beta programs and collectcontinuous customer feedback
Partner with sales and marketing to deliver highquality product collateral, and influence pricing, packaging and positioning
Understand and monitor the evolving infrastructurecloud market trends and competition
Produce product tutorials and whitepapers thathighlight the customer value of new features

Can succinctly articulate compelling vision for infrastructurecloud in the enterprise market
Has a strong understanding of the infrastructurecloud technologies, and enterprise customer needs
Has enough technical knowledge of distributedsystems and cloud infrastructure services to effectively engage withengineering teams
Has an entrepreneurial drive to lead a highlytalented engineering team with clear and compelling communication, and canprioritize requirements well.
Has a demonstrable ability to analyze and actagainst existing and rapidly changing markets
Can advocate, articulate, and balance the needsof both technical and business stakeholders
Posses strong business acumen in the context ofInternet-based services
Demonstrates strong writing skills. Demonstratedability to explain technical material to both technical and business audiences.Experience writing tutorials, white papers, data sheets, and case studies.
Required Qualifications
Previous experience (product management,development, operations) with large scale distributed systems, preferably cloudinfrastructure services
5-10 years of experience in product managementfor enterprise infrastructure software, IaaS, PaaS and/or SaaS
5+ years of experience in the storage orvirtualization market
Previous experience with managing multipleprojects at the same time
Previously played an active role in a successfulagile environment
Bachelors Degree required. Masters or MBApreferred with a strong relevant experience in the field
Qualifications
Manage a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
As a Director in the product development division, you will lead a team that defines product specifications and or strategy. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications. Envision and communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.
Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. The ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations is important. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development and product management. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 of software engineering or related experience preferred.
