Facebook is seeking a Director of Finance, Partnerships and New Revenue Initiatives. This Director will be responsible for supporting the Partnerships and Operations organization as well as financial planning for new and emerging business initiatives. The Director will lead the financial planning, budgeting, business modeling, forecasting and management reporting activities across Partnerships, Operations, & New Revenue Initiatives at Facebook. The Director will partner with stakeholders across the Company to deliver revenue and key operating metric visibility and accuracy as well as to ensure budget communication and alignment across multiple decision levels.

With a deep understanding of the business levers, this person will be responsible for increasing the value of information and analysis provided to key business partners and Finance leadership, ultimately driving the business towards clear and effective decisions. The Director will lead a team of high-performing Business Operations and FP&A professionals responsible for financial analysis and strategy, including financial planning and forecasting of revenue, cost of revenue, operating expenses, and headcount. This position is full-time, is located in our Menlo Park office, and will report directly to the Vice President of Monetization Finance.
Responsibilities
Lead complex, cross-functional analyses to drive financial planning, as well as optimize long-term revenue growth / cost savings and support related strategic initiatives (both one-off analyses and on-going reporting / infrastructure)
Lead the investment side of Facebook’s financial planning and ongoing reporting processes for Partnerships and Operations including the annual budget, monthly and quarterly rolling forecasting for key expense areas, and long range planning
Drive reporting that includes financial performance, detailed reporting of key financial & operating metrics, and executive level explanations of variances and trends
Partner closely with Partnerships, Operations and Product team leadership to identify and evaluate strategic investment opportunities and risks impacting business performance
Lead key initiatives to continuously improve and automate Facebook’s financial controls and operations
Present analyses and forecasts to senior business and finance leaders including the CFO
Team: Lead, grow and develop a team of high performing Business Operations and FP&A professionals responsible for financial analysis, forecasting, capital planning, operating expenses, and headcount tracking.
Minimum Qualifications
10+ years of finance experience
Knowledge of financial planning and analysis
Experience influencing senior leadership of organizations
Analytical and modeling skills, including knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
Working knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control principles
BA/BS from an undergraduate institution
Demonstrated record of career progression
Previous management experience leading teams
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or other advanced degree
Finance experience from a Fortune 500 Technology Company or high growth firm, leading investment bank, and/or consulting firm
Basic understanding of programming languages like SQL
