The Director, Business Analytics & Insights, Global Biosimilars is an integral business partner to the Global Biosimilars commercial organization. He/she is responsible for the development and delivery of rigorous analytics-based market insights and business intelligence to inform optimal strategic asset and portfolio decision-making, drive development of implementation plans, and measure performance upon asset launch.

Responsibilities

• Lead rigorous, analytics-based decision support to the Global Biosimilars commercial team, including primary market research, data analytics, forecasting and insight generation:
-Deliver strategic competitive market assessments and analytical support to guide the commercial development of the late-stage portfolio and to help determine strategy for the next wave of biosimilars
-Partner with commercial leaders and cross-functional partners (e.g., medical) to develop, refine, and enhance business cases and asset forecasts to ensure clarity of anticipated market dynamics across all assets
-Monitor and evaluate competitive biosimilar pipelines and determine implications for Pfizer’s portfolio
-Deliver insights to guide the development of a commercial footprint for launching and growing biosimilar products globally
-Monitor in-line portfolio performance and generate insights to drive continuous improvement in global marketing strategy
• Partner with Global Biosimilars in goal-setting, strategy development, and performance measurement
• Collaborate and innovate with other members of the extended Biosimilars BAI team to develop and communicate best practices. Serve as a core member of the Global Biosimilars Community of Practice. Assist in US Biosimilars initiatives as needed
• Work effectively with commercial client teams, cross-functional partners (e.g., Medical, PGS, PCA, Finance), and BAI COEs to deliver the highest level of service to the business. Lead cross-functional teams, as needed
• Proactively seek out and evaluate new data sources, methodologies, tools, and analytic partners that drive Biosimilars objectives
• Seek out opportunities for shared learning across the Biosimilars portfolio as well as across the PEH BAI global community

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MA/MS/MBA or other advanced degree preferred
• 11+ years conducting secondary data analysis and primary market research
• 11+ years’ experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical or related field including knowledge of industry dynamics with experience in brand lifecycle management, payer and reimbursement dynamics, market and policy trends preferred
• Experience in a diverse set of therapeutic areas as well as the specialty/hospital segment is desirable. Biosimilars experience strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and quantitative skills with expertise in the tools of primary research, secondary data analysis, and forecasting.
• Expertise in the use of global industry data sources to support analytics that drive impactful business decisions
• Ability to work effectively with or without direct oversight; results and accountability-oriented
• Ability to work effectively in and lead cross-functional teams as well as in partnership with BAI COE, global teams, functional partners, other BUs, and external partners
• Ability to quickly establish credibility with internal client-partners
• Strong interpersonal skills as well as excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
• Ability to manage simultaneously multiple projects involving a variety of analytic techniques
• Proven ability to work effectively in matrix organizations to deliver impactful results to clients
