In this newly created role, the Director, Brand Marketing – Emerging Platforms will work hand-in-hand with the VP of Brand Marketing and the Emerging Platform team to define and validate the product roadmap to drive the business forward. Strategic Planning
Manage diverse cross-functional projects in support of a robust innovation pipeline, solid strategic business planning, and deep cross-platform integration
Build financial models and product P&Ls that define the size of the opportunity and highlight strategic recommendations for driving growth in an increasingly competitive marketplace
Work collaboratively with Brand Marketing, Insights, NPD and R&D to support the development of a product innovation pipeline grounded in deep market knowledge, consumer understanding and operational feasibility
Help synthesize deep quantitative and qualitative insights into a cohesive and actionable story that enables Brand to make informed decisions and take timely action against business goals
Insights
Bring cross-platform insights and storytelling to bear on the development of customer sell-in decks and ongoing Sales-led conversations
Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Insights teams to bring brand, shopper, and retailer insights together into customer-tailored marketing strategies
Drive customer engagement by making regular store visits that deliver a richly nuanced understanding of brand execution at POS and consumer marketing effectiveness in action
Work collectively with Chobani Insights, as well as other internal and external partner teams to define, track, and evaluate KPIs – ensuring they are relevant, accurate, and timely delivered to positively impact business performance and strategic decision-making
Serve as Emerging Platforms liaison on all cross-platform learning projects incl. but not limited to: brand tracking, marketing mix analyses, shopper insights, macrotrend reviews, ROI baselining, competitive benchmarking, and more
Finance, Reporting and Optimization
Take lead in developing brand dashboards, cross-platform metrics, and actionable reporting
Partner with Platform owners and Finance to develop working budgets, monitor spend, achieve efficiencies and produce accurate reconciliation on an ongoing basis
Oversee and track resources allocation for innovation planning, including proactively identifying opportunities for efficiency, automation, standardization and process simplification as needed
Evaluate ongoing and upfront opportunities to maximize profits through streamlines operations, focused pricing/promotion strategies, and effective go-to market execution

Serve as a thought leader and trusted advisor to the Emerging Platform team and Brand Marketing more broadly by driving cross-functional collaboration and visibility to best practice.

The requirements of this position include:
8+ years of relevant experience in a fast-paced consumer goods or tech company – preferable in an innovation, planning, or insights function; Consulting also considered
BA/BS required; Advanced Degree strongly preferred
Strong financial acumen and analytical skills with an ability to assimilate large amounts of data and discern a coherent story with actionable recommendations
Demonstrated ability to build strategic frameworks and brand architectures that maximize commercial results and positive brand impact
Good working knowledge of diverse quantitative and qualitative research methodologies that extract key insights and maximize learning
Able to creatively solve business problems, innovating new approaches where required
Track record of bringing new products into market preferred
Previous experience working with Nielsen, IRI, and/or other sales data tools preferred
Self-starting, detail-oriented and professional – with the ability to effectively oversee multiple projects simultaneously and set a course with minimum guidance, ambiguity and change
Can positively contribute to teamwork, influence cross-functionally, and deliver results independently showing a strong sense of urgency and high-level of personal accountability
Superior oral and written communication skills, incl. persuasive storytelling (via PowerPoint+)
