Reporting to the VP, Corporate Controller, supports the month end close process and preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and assist in the timely and accurate completion of the monthly close process including consolidation of results, foreign exchange, and inter-company matrix

Review and prepare account reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis and ensure accounting activities are well supported and documented and audit ready
Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of the monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Research and analyze technical accounting and financial reporting issues, such as new revenue models and acquisitions, to ensure that accounting is in accordance with GAAP
Responsible for supervising staff and fostering an environment of mutual respect, continuous learning, and team work.
Continuous process observation, design and improvement
Review month to month financial and operational metrics related to revenue and expenses and profitability trends compared to forecast and budget
Partner with the Financial Planning & Analysis team in providing timely and relevant reports and analysis to business owners
Responsible for preparation of quarterly bank compliance certificate and the related monthly debt analysis
Oversee and support for the annual external financial statement audit in accordance with GAAP
Review annual 401k financial statements and oversee annual audit
Review annual detailed analysis and schedules for annual tax returns prepared by staff to be provided to external accounting firm
Ad hoc projects
Required Qualifications:

BS or MS in Accounting
CPA Required
7+ years of relevant experience
Required Skills/Competencies:

Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal)
Creativity in problem solving and ability to think critically and recognize discrepancies and anomalies through analysis
Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel
Strong management and organization skills
Demonstrates leadership abilities
Strong understanding of accounting principles and how to apply them
Preferences:

Systems savvy
Oracle experience a plus
Public (Big 4) and private accounting experience
SEC and transactional experience a plus
Work Requirements:

Authorized to work in the U.S.
Ability to type and work with computer equipment
