Directs a merchandise planning team in planning and executing the portfolio financial plan

Ensures key financial metrics on the portfolio profit and loss (P&L) are met
Manages inventory plans
Partners with Vice President of Merchandising to develop and implement department's financial strategy
Provides overall direction
Minimum Qualifications

3 years of supervisory experience OR 3 years experience leading a cross-functional team.
Bachelor s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Retail Management, Economics or related field and 5 years experience in retail management, financial planning, category management, buying, replenishment, operations or related field OR 7 years experience in retail management, financial planning, category management, buying, replenishment, operations or related field.
Additional Preferred Qualifications

1 year experience in Walmart Merchandising or Walmart Operations.
1 year experience using Retail Link.
5 years experience leading a cross-functional team.
5 years experience using basic functionality of Microsoft Office (for example, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
5 years experience with retail math (for example, calculate margin, inventory turn, average price).
5 years experience working with a profit and loss (P&L).
5 years of supervisory experience.
Master's degree in Business Administration or related field.
