The Director of Marketing is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to educate and engage developers to drive API adoption. Looking for a creative self-starter with a passion for telling awesome stories and managing projects in a dynamic environment. You'll engage with agency partners, our sales team, R&D, product management, marketing teams as well as cross functional partners to help build and bring impactful programs to life. The ideal candidate will be a high-energy leader who strives for innovation and results-oriented outcomes.

This role will be reporting into the head of marketing and dotted lined into the Chief Architect of ADP Marketplace: marketplace.adp.com

* VALUE PROPOSITION: Develop positioning and developer based messaging, featuring key product capabilities that provide incremental value.
* CONTENT DEVELOPMENT: Develop world class multi-media content, videos, demos, thought leadership articles, blogs, case studies that drives awareness and adoption of ADP APIs
* CHANNEL MARKETING: Plan and execute marketing engagement programs and experiences targeted to client and partner developers, like events, email, blog, communities, social media, etc.
* SALES ENGAGMENT: Educate sales on how to communicate our API solution and integrated applications to clients and go on sales calls as needed
* DATA ANALYSIS: Develop and execute monthly marketing metric reports, including managing and interpreting data from multiple sources to determine success and optimization efforts
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
* Must have a strong understanding of APIs and developer persona
* Minimum of 5-8 years of related experience in marketing
* Demonstrated ability in building and leading programs, ideally in developer marketing
* Experience working with outside agencies
* A high degree of comfort working with senior management, particularly with demanding sales executives, and across different functional groups
* Strategic thinker with broad perspective and, at the same time, demonstrates an acute attention to detail and ability to execute flawlessly
* Outstanding interpersonal, teaming, verbal, presentation and process facilitation skills
* Results-oriented; high sense of urgency and energy
* Ability to gain the support of a diverse and demanding sales organization
* Collaborative, executive presence with a strategic mindset
* Highly intelligent, with a balance of outstanding communications skills and technical skills
