Principal responsibilities
This role will report to the Global Head of Executive and Internal Communications, based in New York. The individual will be the primary communications advisor to the Human Resources organization and a principal driver of communications for employees across all other functions. The focus of the role is to proactively develop, execute, and measure high-impact communication programs for a global audience that is diverse, highly motivated and highly engaged, and to help the firm establish its employer brand.

Set and manage all priorities pertaining to the creation, production, and dissemination of internal employee communications for the firm’s functions.
Inspire employees through innovative and creative messaging on key employee programs and issues.
Manage firm-wide coordination and alignment of internal messaging; collaborating with the firm’s leaders / functions / businesses to ensure alignment, integration, and coordinated messaging and timing of functional communications.
Design and develop communications channels that engage and inform employees; adjusting existing channels to be as effective as possible.
Understand HR strategy and direction and developing communication strategies and plans to support achievement of HR’s objectives.
Partner with HR and Global Marketing to develop a strong employer brand proposition and strategically plan earned media opportunities and profiling of the organization and its people through social media, in addition to developing external employer award submission strategies in major outlets.
Work with the broader Corporate Communications team to ensure tight coordination of messaging and delivery.
Build effective relationships with key stakeholders across the firm.
Lead and manage a small team of employee communications professionals and encourage a sense of ownership and authenticity in the work they do.

Partner successfully with a wide-range of stakeholders and on a wide-range of subject matter.
Manage a high-volume of communication initiatives simultaneously, meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
Be sensitive to audience needs and writing styles outside of the US.
Be extremely collaborative and comfortable as a team player and coach
Help create a world-class modern, integrated communications function in a complex environment.

Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of corporate communications experience including experience with organizational communication planning and execution, and communication measurement.
Solid track record of developing high-impact strategic communications
Skilled writer, grammarian and excellent editor
Confident presenter
Exceptional attention to detail
Global mindset, ideally with international experience
