This position directs all general accounting activities in support of all GBUs in North America. Includes designing, implementing, and leading an accounting group of the financial services department of SBS North America. This department will service all GBUs in North America. Leads a group of approximately 12 people responsible for all aspects of general accounting including fixed assets, intercompany, cash, payroll, and pension accounting. Leadership consists of but not limited to all aspects of managing people, complex accounting functions within and amongst multiple legal entities.

Leads the integration and assimilation of new acquisitions into the new shared services environment.
Develops the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for the new processes in the SBS. These standards need to embody the concepts of internal customers and the delivery of services to them.
Accountable for delivering service and meeting objectives defined in the SBS SLA’s for all North America businesses.
Partners with the business units to continuously improve the services, accuracy and timing of the accounting function.
Cultivates strategic partnerships: Treasury, Tax, Controlling, Purchasing, Human Resources, Legal, Sales Leadership, IS, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Corporate Compliance, Industrial Affairs and R&D Finance to ensure integration and implementation of efficient process and policies
Key Member of Vice President, Financial Services senior leadership that performs other duties as assigned and provides strategic direction in areas of responsibility
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university
7-10 years' of work related experience
