Clinical Practice Leader will:
· Lead, manage and promote Global Clinical Services to new and existing customer base as well
as in industry.
· Plan, execute, and oversee implementation of performance improvement strategies to maintain
and renew products/services in existing accounts

· Develop and refine our Clinical Services offering to meet evolving market opportunities.
· Help develop value proposition and ROI for customers considering Global Clinical Services
· Create mind-share for in market about Cognizant’s GCS practice and capabilities.
· Consult with hospitals and health systems to achieve breakthroughs in cost reduction and
operational, supply chain and/or clinical process improvement using consulting expertise and supported by the client’s data products and services.
· Integrate clinical and supply chain data to identify resource utilization opportunities that will
assist in physician preference, drug and clinical supply cost reduction opportunities.
· This role will also partner with subject matter experts across the company to leverage the
Clinical and operational data to drive improvement operational and medical expenses

Experience and credentials:
· B.S. or B.A. required; Preferred: RN, MS or MA degree
· Business, engineering, healthcare management or related discipline
· 6+ years related experience
· Health Plan Medical Management leadership roles
· 5+ years performance improvement consulting experience (clinical and operational [supply and labor]) or client management experience or recent practical healthcare or hospital experience
· Preferred: clinical background (RN) or working knowledge in clinical processes (for positions in hospitals and systems which are clinically and organizationally complex)
