The Senior Director is a senior level position reporting into the Senior Vice President and CAO and will operate as a business partner to the significant partners integration team. The Senior Director will lead all decision support, financial planning and analysis for the significant partners integration efforts. The role will be responsible for working collaboratively with various stakeholders to drive and measure significant partners synergies and top line growth. The position will be a member of the management team for the CAO and will be responsible for analysing the financial impact of new opportunities and driving the creation of an operating leverage framework that ties to the significant partners Integration transformation efforts and associated metrics. He/she will be tasked with designing innovative analytics that reflect key business model changes and that drive financial performance.

The position is directly responsible for supporting the significant partners Integration activities in the finance arena including scorecards and metrics creation. This position will require a broad range of Integrations, Channel, Sales and Finance experience including operations, business analysis, business strategy, creation and tracking of key business performance metrics, investment case creation, management statement reporting, accounting accuracy for the integration activities, business systems and internal controls.

In addition, the role will take an active part in global FP&A activities, supporting the significant partners integration team, enabling fact-based decision making and drive performance management. The Senior Director is a catalyst to improve and establish processes with a constant drive towards automation. He/she will work very closely and effectively with various finance, operations and accounting groups.

Principal Responsibilities

Decision Support

• Partner with the significant partners integration lead to drive and support integration activities with a finance lens, including financial planning and analysis support.
• Support the Significant partners go to market strategy and activities providing finance and business acumen.
• Monitor and track the significant partners synergies and develop future growth models, performing validation for model assumptions and or developing model assumptions as required.
• Build relationships across the significant partners financial team and help support the combined broader Finance group through various finance and accounting combined activities
• Provide regular updates and guidance to the CFO and the senior Finance leadership team on the full range of significant partners engagements


Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and finance/business partnering skills with an ideal profile of having supported large and medium sized field sales, channel and partner organizations in either senior finance partner, or potentially, sales operations roles.
• An excellent, senior but hands-on finance professional, who can lead an effective finance and business analytics team and is prepared to roll up his or her sleeves.
• Ideally, the candidate will have a combination of large (multi-billion) and small to medium sized company experience for a broad perspective of best practices and cultural comfort. Industry Preferences: Software, Systems and/or cloud services.
• Significant experience with financial and business planning processes including forecasts, budgets and flash processes.
• Experience as the leader of, or business partner to, the accounting function with knowledge in the area of financial reporting, software revenue recognition and accounting information tools such as Business Intelligence reporting.
• Excellent business acumen, solid understanding of key sales/field productivity metrics and strong analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to provide and communicate executive level presentations.

Education

Bachelor’s degree required. MBA and/or CPA degree strongly preferred
