You will lead the definition and creation of a differentiated management and analytics framework for Cisco's hyper converged infrastructure (HCI) portfolio. This includes developing a clear perspective on the market, customer needs, application and workload profiles, competitive strengths, weaknesses and competitive roadmaps.
As you juxtapose this against your deep understanding of key storage features, transitions, major datacenter and cloud management offerings (VMware, MSFT, Opensource, etc.), you will define a vision and execute a roadmap to win in this space. Finally across everything you will drive simplicity and an easy intuitive user experience - the key driving factors of HCI market success

Your deliverable will include owning and defining a compelling roadmap for the HCI Management and Analytics portfolio. You will distill and position key value propositions and unique industry leading differentiators that only Cisco can deliver. You will engage our field, marketing and customer to drive market success. You will also define GTM approach for this product and both leverage the strengths of Cisco field, SEs and Channel as well as define unique GTM approaches to accelerate success.

Who You'll Work With
You will lead a direct team of 1-2 product manager/TMEs. In addition you will work closely with the core UCS Manager/Central/Director product management and engineering teams. You will also work with peer product management teams responsible for storage software and hardware platforms. And finally you will lean on core TME and competitive teams. This is a high visibility, high momentum effort within an entrepreneurial business unit of Cisco that has attracted the best talent and delivered outstanding results.

Who You Are
You have a deep understanding of key transitions in the cloud, datacenter management and storage/converged spaces. You are plugged in to new management and orchestration paradigms and are guided by the north star of simplicity. You like diving into details of software while also relishing truly understanding what delights our customers and makes sour sales task easy. You have a gut based on deep experience in management APIs, datacenter and cloud orchestration toolsets, web-scale simplicity, storage and compute workflows...but are keen to push the boundaries and create the next great experience
Minimum requirements for this role:
- 10 years product management experience
- 7+ years domain experience in storage management and/or cloud management and orchestration
- 5+ years direct technical experience
- 5+ years customer or sales facing experience
- Engineering undergrad/grad and business grad (nice to have)
