Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Job duties include: diagnosing client challenges and developing an appropriate approach and methodology for resolution, conducting research on labor markets across North America in a persistent and rigorous manner, running proprietary analytical models, assisting and advising clients through Labor Analytics’ consulting processes, and consistently contributing to the advancement and improvement of Labor Analytics, as a proactive and creative team member.

Analytical & Consulting Duties
Directly interface with clients, conducting diagnostic evaluations of their organizations and developing customized solutions utilizing established methods and tools.
Utilize established processes and analytical models to develop customized solutions to client’s labor and location centric initiatives.
Work with clients to develop appropriate labor and location criteria and weightings based on client’s skill, location and operational requirements.
Site selection projects.
Run proprietary models and evaluate the results analysis and modeling.
Conduct primary research to validate/eliminate locations beyond statistical modeling
Evaluate all data (statistical, primary, and anecdotal) to make final location recommendations.
Document findings and recommendations by developing customized summary reports and slide decks.
Direct meetings with client representatives throughout the Site Selection process. Follow-up meetings are also conducted after client has received and reviewed the studies to explain findings and develop short-list of communities to tour.
Community Tours.
Coordinate market tours with local economic development officials.
Lead client through on-the-ground site selection tour of short-listed communities.
Conduct due diligence vetting labor market findings through competitor interviews, personnel recruiting agencies and focus groups
Workforce Optimization Strategies.
Work directly with clients to develop workforce optimization strategies across the real estate footprint, using established processes and analytical models and customizing to their specific labor requirements and workforce strategies
Utilize proprietary models and database
Document findings and recommendations by developing customized summary reports and slide decks.
Business Development & Team Duties
Directly interface with key senior management representatives in client organizations for sales and consulting activities.
Assist (as needed) with CBRE business development activities as LAG subject matter representative
Consistently contribute to the advancement and improvement of LAG, as a proactive and creative team member.
Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications

Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university.
Masters degree in Business, Economics, Urban Studies, or related program or MBA preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of business consulting experience required.
Real estate, site selection consulting experience is preferred.

Certificates and/or Licenses
Real estate license (where required by state law)
Professional certification, professional designations (e.g. BCCR, CCIM, CPM, MAI) and/or graduate level training in commercial real estate is desirable. Professional certification, professional designations (SHRM-CP/SCP, HRIC-PHR/SPHR..), in human resources are also desirable.

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents.
Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues.
Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style.
Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups.

Reviews complex financial/business analysis and reports prepared by subordinates.
Ability to analyze the most complex business/financial data and develop innovative solutions.

Approves and oversees department budget.

Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment.
