We currently have an exciting opportunity in our Broomfield, CO data center for a dynamic, experienced Director of Monitoring and Automation.
The individual in this role is expected to manage a team of global monitoring professionals in the delivery of monitoring services within a multi-tenanted, managed services environment. This person will be expected to interact directly with clients including demonstrating monitoring solutions; seeking high-level requirements; and addressing client concerns. The incumbent will be expected to be a Technical SME and Single Point of Contact for all monitoring related questions.
This person should feel comfortable managing manage multiple high priority demands and prioritizing them accordingly within the team. This Director must be highly detail oriented and able to track multiple initiatives in a complex environment as well as be able to handle light project management requirements while driving the completion of the team's deliverables in a proactive manner.
Desired Skills and Experience
The minimum qualifications for this opportunity include
Minimum 5 years technical experience with monitoring (network, server, application) platforms
Minimum 3 years of management experience
Minimum Bachelor's degree in related field
Expert understanding of the following disciplines: Event Management; Infrastructure Management; Capacity Management; Availability Management; Network Performance Monitoring; Application Performance Monitoring)
Preferred experience with the following monitoring platforms (CA Nimsoft, CA Spectrum, CA eHealth, NetIQ, CA Service Operations Insight, CA IM 2.0, CA Netflow, NetScout)
Experience in a client facing role where expected to interact with multiple external clients
Experience supporting monitoring in a multi-tenanted and MSP environment
Experience managing global teams
