Sales Director Customer Learning Education SAP San Francisco

Education Sales Director will be managing an Education sales team in the Western US region, including customer facing, inside sales team members and channel management. His/her performance will be measured on total Education revenue and contribution in the SAP North America Education P&L, including Education Software, Learning Software and Education Services.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:

Active support in entire Sales and Delivery Engagement
Ensuring realization of margin targets
Structure, development and effective management of a strong SAP Education team in the Regions
Visions, analyzes, prioritizes facilitates and manages activities on a national scale
Develop and manage SAP Education growth and skill sets
Lead knowledge management initiatives regarding the development and use of intellectual property
Support knowledge sharing initiatives (i.e. Communities, Mentoring, Education, etc.)
Managing related budgets
Realization of Region Deliverables including Customer Sat
Supply, Demand and Forecast (skill gap planning) Management
Harmonize decisions across multiple opinions across competing organizations
Support SAP Education Related Systems and other Internal systems (i.e. Portal and servers operating)
Responsible for managing internal projects
Identifying of training needs for strategic areas
Financial Management Reporting based on Utilization, Forecast, and Budgeting
Education Services Definition & Maintenance
Forecast Management
Partner Management
Be a Trusted Adviser and "Talk Business"
Deal with LOB, Executive Level
Establish powerful relationships
Be a strong contributor to the Virtual Account Team

Implement business strategies to ensure customer success driving revenue targets for both education software and services.
Participate in a team-selling environment working with one or more Account Executives (AEs) and/ or SAMs, GAD’s and Value Engineering on assigned accounts
Development and Delivery of Management Advisory Services (SAP Education Advisory Role)

WORK EXPERIENCE:

5-10 years sales experience, preferably in an SAP environment
Previous experience working in Operational management role
Prior experience managing a P&L
People management experience preferred

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

University degree / MBA an advantage
Strong Knowledge of SAP business
Customer focus
Solid Sales experience
Fluent in English
Fluent in any local language is an advantage
Strong Team player
Management experience preferred
Excellent communication skills
