This individual will lead the team tasked with creating, managing and optimizing C+E websites worldwide that drive the business goals - engagement, trials, and leads, etc. The role will be at the center of it all, helping shape and make decisions that drive best-in-class global web experiences.

This position will be responsible for the following core activities:
• Drive leadership and innovation across C+E web properties that enable our business goals
• Define end-to-end web engagement strategy that rationalizes multiple stakeholder and customer inputs into a short- and long-term approach.
• Lead a high impact team of 12 FTEs and over 20 vendors that are responsible and accountable for the WW C+E web presence across UX/UI, publishing, SEO, infrastructure, and tools.
• Enable marketing experiences on our Microsoft.com web properties including defining the long term strategy, creative and execution, while leveraging a breadth of customer data and audience insights as the driving force for how we continue to improve our site experiences.
• Partner with engineering to define and drive the Azure.com Next website to increase Azure traffic, engagement, and trials.
• Deliver ongoing A/B and MVT testing, web optimization, and analytics to drive for continuous improvement and achievement of business metrics.
• Work closely with the Microsoft.com team to deliver a One Microsoft web approach and visual identity,
• Set and communicate scope, timeline, and resources for web projects. Own marketing web release planning for major/managed releases; own and evangelize guidelines for “unmanaged”/smaller releases.
• Onboard and manage agencies required to support our business, including building and managing scope of work and contracts as necessary.

The position requires first-class leadership, people management, impact and influence skills, problem solver, and an ability to thrive in a highly-matrixed environment. You must be a strong communicator, collaborator, and have a passion for the web.

Requirements:
• BA/BS in Marketing, Technical Communication, Computer Science, Information Management, or related discipline
• 5+ years of experience in production of global, enterprise-scale web sites
• 7+ years of leadership experience in consumer-focused digital marketing, website experiences, direct marketing, marketing communications and related disciplines.
• Excellent systems analytical, problem solving, and technical skills.
• Firm understanding of business-driven web publishing (strategy, content, and project management) for multiple audiences
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically, execute effectively, work under deadline pressure, and manage multiple projects—in some cases, across multiple time zones and platforms
• Data-driven: You persuade with facts and challenge your assumptions using surveys, A/B tests, and other tools
• Have an intrinsic drive for excellence and continuous improvement
• Possess strong interpersonal, planning, time management, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex situations in clear terms and work collaboratively in a diverse environment
