eCommerce Segment Director Schneider Electric Nashville

This Segment Director is responsible for developing the eCommerce / eTail channel segment including its definition and cross functional execution. This person will both directly manage a team providing the tools process and systems needed to support digital commerce and animate a global team of indirect channel managers. The current business supports both BtoC and BtoB market places with the BtoB space offering the largest opportunity for growth so experience in BtoB digital commerce is desired. This individual will work closely with regional sales teams to capture business while working with IT, Marketing and external vendors to develop and deploy technology and strategy solutions in a matrix organization.

Key responsibilities include:
• Define e-commerce strategy globally in B2B and in B2C including growth plan, launch of new or disruptive e-commerce initiatives, risks and opportunities, Business plan, countries prioritisation and roadmap
• Drive, coordinate and be accountable for the implementation of the approved e-commerce strategy, for B2B and B2C working cross-functionally with global and local stakeholders. Reflect the e-commerce strategy in playbooks to support countries and other teams in its implementation
• Design the right e-commerce organisation and governance, identify gaps to reach a “best-in-class” e-commerce organisaiton, recommend and design solutions to fill the gaps, ensure its implementation.
• Influence key stakeholders like leaders of Digital Customer Experience, Operationnal Marketing, Distribution, IT, Corporate strategy and work collaboratiovely with their teams. Share performances, progress and issues on a regular basis through bespoke reporting and monthly meetings
• Drive change, share Lead and animate it worldwide with the purpose to align goals, share best practices and support countries in their development on e-commerce. Be the champion of the Division on e-commerce
• Define e-commerce success metrics and KPIs, control and track performances of the e-commerce initiatives within global team and with the countries
• Identify external growth strategy and strategic partnerships with ecommerce players and providers and build the business case. Eventually drive negotiations with the possible companies
• Drive market intelligence on e-commerce (market evolutions, growth drivers, competition and partners analysis) and share the outcome with the e-commerce community, on a regular basis

Qualifications

We are looking for a customer centric individual, focused on the customer! More than 15 years of strategy, marketing and/ or sales development and Business transformation experience in a digital environment, in B2B and B2C:
Successfully led digital/business transformation, develop and grow omnichannel strategies
Strategy definition and implementation of digital and e-commerce strategy
Successful experience in developing customer centric approaches and transforming the organisiation accordingly
Experience in defining e-commerce value proposition, online sales growth strategy, e-commerce plateforms and in developing comprehensive multichannel sales & marketing actions plans
Experience in driving change cross-functionally and in managing impactful strategic project, within a matrix multinational organisation
The person selected for this role must have a very good command of the English language with the ability to communicate a compelling vision, define common cause, and build motivation. Success in this role will require the ability to inspire others and to get the job done through others -- successfully getting the most and best out of the people in a matrix environment.
