Director Worldwide Channel Strategy Programs NVIDIA Santa Clara

We are now looking for a Director of Worldwide Channel Strategy and Program:
What you’ll be doing:
Defines and owns worldwide channel program definition and strategy:
o Establishes and defines program structure, tiering, and benefits/requirements for membership into various sub-programs

o Gets regional buy in on program architecture and works with field on geo specific requirements
o Works with cross-functional team to recommend and establish channel margin models, certification and training requirements, and partner support requirements
o Continually drives program improvement based on input from field and knowledge of other industry channel programs
Manages cross-functionally within NVIDIA with BU/Finance/Operations/Marketing/Legal/and all Sales functions to develop the program and drive its operationalization
Manages the financial health of the channel program, including NVIDIA margin model, retained partner margin decisions, discounts, rebates, etc.
Establishes requirements and works with IT and Field counterparts to define program infrastructure requirements including partner portal, partner database and other associated process:
o Establishes and manages process to ensure WW portals are updated and maintained
o Establishes and tracks usage
o Ensures partner registry database is maintained, current and accurate
o Evaluate, recommend and implement processes (or improve existing processes) for deal registration and POS data collection
Manages program compliance and annual partner program renewal processes:
o Selection and on-boarding / rotation of partners in and out of programs and within tiers
o Training & certification strategies, policies and deployment
Defines MDF guidance for field and tracks WW MDF metrics
Establishes Program Key Performance Indicators and tracks success metrics:
o Maintains program dashboards including KPIs, and conducts internal status/check in meetings with stakeholders
Works with Sales Enablement Organization on requirements for partner sales tools and training
Manages a staff of individuals--either directly or indirectly--in HQ and globally in the NVIDIA channel organization
What we need to see:
15+ years of channel programs development, VAR recruitment, channel financials, partner marketing in technology company
Cross functional leadership with excellent teamwork skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detail oriented and self-starter
Strong customer/VAR/Distributor relationship skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment
Self-motivated, ability to work with little definition and without supervision while multi-tasking and prioritizing across a number of projects and initiatives
BA / BS or equivalent work experience
Willing to travel as required to meet with partners and field organization
