Huawei Device has an exciting new opportunity for a Director of sales to develop relationships across the executive, technical and operational areas within the customer organization and host carrier for the MVNO.
This position will collaborate with the Sr. Director of Sales to develop new MVNO business with product teams and build long term relationships to build partnership status with each carrier's MVNO VP or Director.

This Sales Director of MVNO accounts will also be responsible for any account management for key accounts and other substantial volume opportunities.

This role will include collaboration with product teams to build variants of other carrier devices, work with technical team to help meet both MVNO technical requirements and to also meet host carrier MVNO technical requirements.

The key duties and responsibilities and opportunities to succeed include:

Maintaining accurate forecasts for all products.
Managing opportunities through full sales cycle including negotiation of pricing and terms through sell through
Assisting marketing and technical integration into the account MVNO
Representing customer needs to Product Management and R&D groups to maintain robust road maps and technical needs for products.
Participating in customer strategy and objectives to identify new opportunities for sales and new areas for development.
The minimum requirements for the successful candidate include:

A Bachelor's degree
5+ years sales experience in telecommunications device industry selling products to Tier MVNO and Tier 1 Carriers
Proven track record of solid relationships at all levels within the engineering and procurement organizations of MVNO customers
Proven track record of successfully managing sales growth and new account development
Management of entire sales cycle from opportunity assessment to close
Must be articulate with strong presentation and written communication skills and understand how to position MVNO products that may be older devices to align with MVNO rate plans
Working knowledge of devices (tablet, smartphone, feature phone, etc.)
Must be able to generate, and manage Sales pipelines
The ideal canidate will possess all of the above and:

Proficiency in MS, CRM, Sales.com and forecast tools strongly desired
10+ years device sales experience in telecommunications device industry responsible for developing relationships for US and Canadian MVNO business directly. Also major plus to have product management experience in developing and creating product portfolio's for US and Canadian customers.
Working relationships with MVNO contacts at mentioned carriers above
Superior relationship building skills beyond normal account management as this type of business relationship demands carrier, manufacturer and MVNO to work together to make the device and rate plans a success
Product marketing and marketing experience are also preferred as sales person often required to create solution based sales presentations and have the ability to position a variety of products to fit new rate plans and solve consumer needs.
