Director Experience Design Intuit Mountain View

You will be responsible for inspiring Intuit leaders and cross-company teams across Experience Design, Product Development, and Product Management to deliver core experiences that are shared across all Intuit products. These experiences are essential for customers to interact with Intuit as a single company – a key pillar of our strategy.

Direct design strategies, frameworks, and deliverables to support experiences that are common across all Intuit products.
Partner with company-wide design leaders to build and communicate seamless experiences connecting Intuit products.
Manage and coach an organization of 20 passionate designers and researchers who design & deliver these shared experiences. Enable company-wide customer empathy/recruiting programs through Intuit’s usability labs.

Qualifications

A degree in Human Computer Interaction, product design, or a related field.
10+ years of experience delivering products or services on multiple devices in a SaaS business.
You should have rock-solid design craft, and should have a strong point of view that you back up with solid rationale.
Strong design coach and effective communicator. You should have an uncanny ability to bring people along across organizations and to inspire them to always aim for bigger, bolder and smarter.
Masterful in collaborating, negotiating, communicating and presenting with executives and product teams.
Experience with conceptualizing, driving, and leading complex design projects, and can communicate to engineers and marketing as easily as the creative teams.
