The Director, Business Strategy and Analytics is a critical member of the Naked Emerging Brands team and will develop and lead the strategic exercises and progressive analytic processes to guide optimal decision-making for the Naked Juice, IZZE Sparkling Juice & Organic Sparkling Water and Coconut Water (Naked and O.N.E.) businesses.
The Naked Emerging Brands business unit is led by a VP/GM and a dedicated multi-functional leadership team with a mission to nurture the future of the PepsiCo Beverages portfolio by developing and growing premium, trend-forward, healthy beverage brands that generate incremental sources of revenue for PepsiCo. This team uniquely focuses on brands in the emerging/better-for-you space and nurtures a more entrepreneurial yet savvy approach to brand building and business delivery. Today's portfolio exceeds $800MM in gross sales. The Director of Business Strategy and Analytics will report to the VP/GM and has one direct report.

The Director, Business Strategy and Analytics will contribute to the Naked Emerging Brands portfolio strategies and plans through market and brand analytics and insights.
Specific accountabilities are:
Contributes to the annual & longer-term strategic plans for the Portfolio and brands. Establishes on-going measurement, score-carding and evaluation of investments made based on ROI metrics.
Partners with Insights to lead the overall consumer insight process to keep at the leading edge of emerging consumer trends, need states, brand strategies and innovations relevant to our portfolio of brands.
Enables the innovation funnel for the Portfolio and brands, successfully enabling the launch of breakthrough new product platforms and ideas.
Supports the development of passion brand engagement strategies with a strong emphasis on authentic, 1:1 grassroots and digital approaches.
Leads & inspires external market analytics agencies, ensuring that they are strategically focused but creatively inspired to deliver great work.
Partners with sales to oversee the development of customer specific programming that builds our brands with strategic customers

Key Interfaces:
Key partner to each functional leader on the NEB Leadership team, the Game-Change Innovation team, and the Brand Directors/Sr. Managers to develop comprehensive business strategies that support the brand
Strong partner with North America Nutrition leaders in sales strategy, finance, insights, etc. to collaborate on broader NAN/Chilled strategies and decisions.
Leads external agency relationships, including IRI, MMM, SPINS, etc.
Critical Experiences/Background of Candidates to be considered:
Outstanding strategic and analytical skills developed through a minimum of 8+ years post MBA experience in strategy, consulting or business analytic roles.
Proven ability to translate insights into winning business plans - across sales controllables, marketing choices, price/pack architecture, etc.
Impeccable strategic thinking and the ability to envision the future. A good balance of creative and innovative thinking skills (intuition) coupled with the strategic, analytic and practical thinking skills required to make smart business choices and develop growing, profitable businesses.
Strong communication, collaboration, influence and impact skills at all levels within an organization that demonstrates a high degree of executive maturity.
Ability to manage and influence across key stakeholders in a matrix environment
Exceptional results orientation and team leadership skills - with a high degree of personal initiative and leadership in a lower resource environment
Entrepreneurial spirit and intellectual curiosity - experience in past entrepreneurial ventures strongly preferred
Personal passion for healthy, sustainable brands and values.
Undergraduate degree required, MBA at top tier school preferred.
