A major instigator and leader in Facebook’s internal culture has been The Analog Research Lab, a print-based design studio serving the internal community at facebook. Over the last 6 years the ARL has produced countless silkscreened posters, internal signage and environmental design standards, zines and books, art craft and design workshops, and the Artist in Residence program which has been responsible for producing site specific art installations throughout our global offices.

Responsibilities
Develop strategic partnerships for The Analog Research Laboratory
Work collaboratively with the Program Director, internal PMs and designers, creative partners, and independent artists and designers
With our audience size there is a new scale of creative/cultural projects we can take on but need someone to lead this charge.
Can build and manage systems to document and broadcast the content of our programs
Develop Process:
Find and build process with appropriate creative partners
Manage projects and provide creative direction working closely to guide the work of external creative and individual partners
Forms:
Event, print, still and film documentation and storytelling
Being attune with Factory and broader Facebook learnings and conversations
Make work that meets high Facebook standards
Tone:
Communicate complicated technology topics in clear, concise ways to a non-technical audience
Requirements
5+ years designing for brand and product
Pixel-perfect attention to detail
Can clearly articulate design decisions
History of self-initiated projects
Understands basic content strategy
