As a Risk Operations Specialist in Google Technical Services Risk, you will streamline, implement and maintain innovative processes and systems to improve the efficiency and quality of vendor services. The Google Technical Services Risk team is charged with improving and maintaining outsourced operations, ensuring the right access at the right time to keep Google and its users safe. We work cross-functionally with teams across Google (like Security, Privacy, and Engineering) to make Google as safe as possible while enabling the business to be agile.

Our team cares for customers by solving problems and scaling solutions, incubating new Google products, and sharing user feedback with internal teams to influence product development. We support a wide variety of products, from Ads to Project Fi and just about everything in between, and our customers include advertisers, consumers, partners, publishers, retailers, and our own Sales Googlers.

Responsibilities
Assist with projects that include strategy development, requirements definition, and business process improvement
Audit our strategic partners using existing and newly developed technology
Develop, organize, and manage complex multi-functional project activities including project tasks, milestones and schedules. Provide functional subject matter expertise in the fields of Security and Compliance.
Manage complex projects to major milestones, develop project justification proposals, business cases and return on investment estimates, prepare executive briefings and project presentations (ability to ‘tell the story’) to obtain executive approval.
Partner with business leads to define and manage access for Google’s vendor teams. Influence decisions and change management through collaboration, leadership and a customer-focused approach.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
1 year of experience in a customer facing capacity

Preferred qualifications:
CIPM, CISSP, CRISC, and/or equivalent data security certification
Background in logs analysis or familiarity with access logs analysis
History of interacting with diverse technical and non-technical groups, spanning all organizational levels
Strong analytical skills and a demonstrable bias toward action
Proven track record dealing with ambiguity and thriving in a rapidly changing business environment
Superb written and oral communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
