We are looking for a Recruiting Director to lead our Tech recruiting organization globally. This will require a strategic player/coach who applies their operational depth and program management discipline to bring to life creative ideas for identifying, evaluating and hiring people who deeply believe in Facebook’s mission and are the very best at what they do. Leading and nurturing a large, distributed team of recruiting professionals collaborating across university, experienced, and diversity channels to drive operational excellence and unparalleled results is essential in this role.

Responsibilities
Inspire, grow and nurture a team of engaged recruiting professionals who deliver on the Global Tech hiring needs.
Work with key business leadership to evaluate current and map out future plans, recruiting implications of these plans and develop a comprehensive global strategy to deliver in a differentiated way.
Articulate, own and lead a comprehensive vision and recruitment strategy for the Global Tech team.
Lead with data, analytics and insights to drive operational improvements and excellence to support our rapid growth.
Apply a Program Management approach to process improvements and tool enhancements to maximize adoption leading to positive impact of changes, globally.
Influence future analytics and recruiting tools road maps and priorities for Tech teams and our broader recruiting organization, globally.
Lead the team to deliver against the global Tech hiring plan putting in place operational systems capable of scaling to a substantially larger capacity.
Define overall team and performance goals, in partnership with your cross functional peers.
Establish and maintain an environment where professional growth, effective performance management, coaching and recognition thrive.
Partner with regional recruiting leads and our HR partners to deliver what our team members need in each region.
Design cutting-edge sourcing strategy and bring this to life with our Tech teams and hiring managers.
In partnership with our Facebook diversity team, lead strategy development and implementation plans for hiring diversity across all of our Tech teams globally.
Collaborate with Global Recruiting Leadership and our Learning and Development teams to create recruiting training programs for all recruiting staff across Tech.
Build effective working relationships with functional leaders within and outside of Tech and be recognized as trusted advisor in all recruitment matters.
Working with our centralized Recruiting Programs and Operations team, lead the rollout of our Global Recruiting programs and initiatives across Tech teams within budget- these include recruitment market intelligence and insights, branding, candidate experience, recruiter L&D, recruiting tools and strategic sourcing.
Requirements
A genuine belief in the social benefits of the Internet and Facebook in particular.
Minimum of 15 years’ recruitment leadership experience, from strategy through operational execution, within a medium to large, rapid-growth environment.
Creative, bold, inclusive and empathetic leader with a flair for inspiring and developing a team of recruiting professionals.
Proven track record in growing, motivating and managing medium to large sized co-located and virtual recruitment functions.
Demonstrated background in recruitment strategy conception and development supported by operational depth.
A genuine understanding of the value of building diverse teams and a passion to deliver this for Facebook.
Effective at partnering with team and internal partners at all levels, including founders and top management.
Experience working and partnering cross-functionally and cross-markets to drive impressive results.
Ability to translate data and analysis into strategic recruitment recommendations and follow through with metric-driven execution, leading others to do the same.
Solid understanding of HR related regulations and compliance procedures globally.
