This role will primarily work with the Global Finance leadership team to deliver a strategic communications plan to Finance professionals and to the wider EY audience. The role is responsible for providing communications support designed to engage employees and provide a narrative about our progress towards our Finance vision.
Support includes strategic planning and implementation for initiatives impacting a range of audiences, including Finance, all partners, client-serving partners and engagement teams and global user community.

Essential functions of the job:
• Collaboration with key senior stakeholders and leaders to develop and deliver a strategic communications plan.
• Work closely with the Finance Academy Steering Committee members to promote activities and engage Finance people in what it means to be a trusted business advisor.
• Develop and manage Global Finance communications channels, including Finance SharePoint site (in development), quarterly all-hands Finance webcasts and bi-monthly finance leadership ThinkTank meetings, Finance communications mailbox, Finance daily news alert, Yammer groups and Finance leaders’ communications toolkit.
• Create a variety of communications, including news stories, leadership messages, films, presentations, templates, talking points and FAQs, and deliver via Global, Area and Finance channels.
• Ensure communications activities and messaging align to Finance’s four strategic priorities.
• Edit, coordinate, review and publish quarterly finance report for Partners
Knowledge, Competency and Skill Requirements:
• Broad communications management experience, ideally gained within professional services or in a similar world-class global organization, with strong working knowledge of the professional services sector and commercial awareness.
• The ability to develop excellent working relationships with senior-level stakeholders and to influence those stakeholders as a trusted advisor.
• Proven capability to understand the business agenda and proactively translate this into high quality, strategic, creative communication interventions which are appropriate, relevant and engaging to the audience.
• First-class communications skills, including excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as listening and interpretation skills.
• Meticulous copy editing skills with very strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering the highest-quality output.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• The ability to balance multiple demands and projects successfully, effectively prioritizing workload and meeting deadlines.
• Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a complex, global organization.
• Work virtually, in a large global organization; across timezones and with different cross-functional teams.
• Constructively challenge and influence stakeholders.
• A willingness to travel should the job require it.
Education:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience with professional or higher qualification in CIM, PR, Internal Communication or Corporate Communication desirable.
