This position is essential to the organization's objectives and is responsible for maximizing Samsung’s market position, product penetration and profitability in the Retail Vertical. The Director of Samsung Business Retail Vertical is responsible for creating opportunities for profitable growth with customers, industry partners, and distribution channels. In this role you will oversee development of retail focused solutions and successful introduction of those solutions to a wide range of Retail Customers.

You and your team will build enduring relationships and provide strategic direction to our customers and partners. Other key responsibilities: • Create industry relevant scalable and repeatable solutions across hardware, software, services. • Analyze consumer and customer programs and activations (customer journey focused). • Develop and implementation of go-to-market strategies. • Identify new opportunities in collaboration with external partners. • Build and grow cross-functional, internal relationships with Sales, Product Marketing, and other departments in order to achieve goals and customer satisfaction. The Director of Samsung Business Retail Vertical must have excellent communication skills and be a motivating manager capable of clearly articulating a strategic vision. Necessary Skills / Attributes
Education: • A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent work experience. A MBA or a undergraduate degree in Business, or a business-related field is a plus. • 15+ years in retail management, sales and/or operational experience • 8+ years of experience in a management role at a national retailer or experience generating customer sales with direct customer contact in a high technology environment • 5+ years in Sales or Field Operations • Previous experience within a technology company or in a corporate strategy role experience highly preferred • Undergraduate university degree; a relevant (MBA) post-graduate degree is desired
