UEG seeks a Creative Director to lead and manage the ideation process for the Brand Experience group, overseeing all creative output, supervision of design staff and overall quality of work production. Working closely with UEG practice leads, the CD will provide thought leadership and operational excellence in developing concepts and big ideas that map against client briefs.
The Creative Director will work as both an active hands-on designer and a passionate leader of teams to deliver compelling content leveraging our sports, entertainment and talent relationships. Must be well-versed in brand experience and technology, with a deep knowledge of cultural trends.

Responsibilities:
Manage and lead the design for the Brand Experience department
Lead high level engagements, working with the client to establish their aims and objectives
Lead the ideation process and generate original concepts and brand engagement opportunities for clients
Plan, develop and execute original creative projects across non-traditional disciplines including but not limited to: experiential, mobile, digital and social media channels
Stay atop of trends and industry best practices to bridge insights, strategy, and creativity into one output
Attend client meetings and play a key role in client pitches and business development
Provide efficient and effective resource mapping and workflow planning for the department Work with producers and/or clients to present creative materials and garner feedback
Build knowledge bases and additional competencies (ie. environmental design, creative technology innovations, etc.)
Continuously propose ways to streamline and refine creative process
Prepare and present regular status updates of all applicable projects for review with management team
Support client services and relationship building
Foster relationships with existing clients and brands in order to assess and cultivate organic growth opportunities
Instill a culture and series of measures within the department to focus and prioritize profitability
Assist in recruitment of new hires within the Creative Department
Foster an environment of accountability, collaboration and creativity
Maintain UEG’s presence and reputation by speaking at industry events and building a robust and influential talent network

Qualifications
Candidates should have:
7-10 years of agency, media, or other relevant creative and brand management experience
Significant background in leading experiential campaigns
Minimum of 5 years of building, managing, sourcing, mentoring and inspiring internal and external resources
Bachelor’s Diploma/Degree in Graphic/Visual/Communication Design
Excellent command of the Apple Mac platform, utilizing the following applications: Adobe CS Suite, Microsoft Office, Keynote
Ability to provide clear direction and see that it is executed 5 years experience on client pitches and developing and fostering client relationships
Superior written communication and verbal/presentation skills
Experience with 3D software (i.e. Sketch Up, Cinema 4D) is a plus
