The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Armed with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

Partnerships are a significant growth engine for Google in the Small- and Medium-sized Business (SMB) space. You will play a key role in crafting our global partnership strategy for eCommerce, including identifying partners we should work with and developing agreement constructs that make sense for customers, partners and Google. With a global perspective, you will be working closely with your counterparts across the globe to execute this strategy towards closing agreements, by providing deep insights (strategic, product-related and technical) in developing go-to-market plans with target partners.

Responsibilities
Participate in crafting Google’s partnership strategy for eCommerce, including identifying business models, agreement constructs, product recommendations and technical requirements.
Source, structure and close partnerships agreements to increase penetration of Google advertising services among Small and Medium eCommerce merchants together with counterparts globally.
Provide strategic analysis, as well as a go-to-market plan, for each new partner’s business and associated impact potential.
Build key relationships with C-level individuals and manage internal approvals processes. Interact with internal executives from relevant functions (e.g. Product, Engineering, Legal, Operations, Finance).
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
6 years of Business Development or Consulting experience in the internet industry.

Preferred qualifications:
MBA.
Relevant experience in developing channel programs or managing partnerships in the eCommerce industry.
Familiarity with the eCommerce ecosystem for SMBs.
Proven track record in managing pipeline to successfully deliver on deals targets, while handling complex negotiations with multiple stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multiple projects with a broad range of internal and external constituents simultaneously.
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills. Demonstrated ability to think strategically about complex issues and develop thoughtful recommendations and action plans.
