Partner Engineering Manager Facebook at Work Menlo Park

Partner Engineering is a highly technical team that works with Facebook’s strategic partners integrating with our services. In this role, you will lead a team of technical experts whose goal is to foster the growth and adoption of Facebook at Work across the Americas. With responsibilities spanning technical pre-sales, deployments and integrations, you will engage with some of the world's most influential companies and work closely with our world-class engineering and product teams. The ideal candidate will combine excellent leadership, technical and business skills to make our partners successful and improve the product. This role is based in Menlo Park.

Responsibilities

Deeply understand the Facebook At Work system and integration components
Lead and manage a team of partner and sales engineers focused on technical pre-sales, deployments, and system integrations
Work closely with the regional sales and customer success managers to define and execute on a strategy to drive adoption of Facebook at Work across the Americas
Act as a technical sponsor and build relationships with key customers to ensure successful adoption
Work closely with Facebook's product and engineering teams to ensure the right products are built to address the needs of customers
Ensure great documentation and best practices are created to help customers integrate with and launch Facebook at Work
Requirements

7+ years of relevant industry experience - software engineering, technical consultancy, partner/sales engineering
At least 2 years of hands-on technical leadership and people management experience (managing teams of 2+ developers / advocates)
Deep understanding of the enterprise software space
Experience working with cloud identity providers and collaboration tools
Deep understanding of the web technology stack (TCP/IP, HTTP, HTML, JavaScript, RESTful APIs)
Experience with security protocols (SAML, Kerberos, etc) and enterprise user management systems (e.g. Active Directory)
Solid communication and public speaking skills, ideally with experience presenting to large technical audiences
BA/BS in Computer Science or related field
Willingness and ability to travel approximately 10% of the time
