- Craft, articulate, and refresh technology roadmap of future technology (infrastructure, applications, security), processes, and automation initiatives for the account
- Build a customer experience roadmap based on hospitality trending and tie-in to state-of-the-art technology capabilities
- Map customers' objectives / priorities with Dell’s capabilities - Responsible for providing ongoing support for new business and account growth activities, deal pursuits, and solution development
- Will need to incorporate both customer-related and operational support activities in Solution development
- Customer-related functions include lead qualification, client proposal development and presentations, developing value propositions for customers, and understanding and communication of Dell Services capabilities
- Individual will also participate and/or lead customer proposal presentations and workshops
- Supervise the development of cost models; manage solution change control process; and oversee, coordinate and finalize deal proposal content
- Sales funnel qualification/reporting, lead tracking and follow-up, and detailed communication and packaging of Dell's overall capabilities for customers
- As a liaison between the Sales and Delivery (apps and infrastructure), this individual will coordinate the Technical, Operational, Legal, and Financial SMEs to develop the final service model
Qualifications
Requirements
- 10 plus years of Business Development/Consulting/Solution Architect/Client Executive or related new business development experience leading solution development functions and/or having new deal architect responsibilities
- Experience to include Commercial (Manufacturing, Automotive, Aerospace, Travel & Hospitality, etc.) Industry domain expertise offering consultative services at C-Suite
- Possess a combination of Financial, Technical, Functional, Business, Industry, and Sales knowledge, experience and acumen
- Excellent communication/presentation skills, and demonstrated executive-level presence
- Prior experience/responsibilities articulating technical direction, capabilities and technical solution to customers
Preferences
- Track record of role(s) in growing business
- Experienced with proposal documentation and presentation development using the MS Office Suite
- Bachelor degree, MBA a plus
- IT delivery experience, either Technical or Consulting oriented is desired
