Consulting Security Engineering Manager Cisco Columbia

Consulting Systems Engineering Manager to be part of a AMP Leadership Team. Responsibilities include leading the US based technical team. Due to our fast growth this person must have the ability to handle individual contributor responsibilities as well. The primary objective will be to grow the AMP line of business.

Specific responsibilities include:
Creating a sustainable, scalable line of business for AMP
Leading the team and managing individual contributors
Working cross functionally to solve problems and generate positive outcomes.
Leading in a collaborative fashion
Meeting or exceeding agreed sales targets
Working with Product Management and Development to ensure future solutions meet customer requirements and address current in field obstacles.

Key activities and metrics:
Objective #1 is exceed the sales targets
Recruit, Train, Empower the team to achieve results
Analyzing and technically qualifying sales opportunities, responding to bids/tenders
In depth product presentations, demonstrations and management of prospect evaluations.
Articulating the high-level benefits of the full CISCO Security solution set to our target audiences (typically senior security management up to CSO)

Requirements:
Mandatory practical knowledge & experience:
Management Experience
Strong work ethic
knowledge of the broader threat landscape and the ability to extract technology trends, explain complex behaviors in simple terms
Excellent presentation and communication skills at all levels
Interpersonal skills (building relationships in the technical community in the channel)
flexible and willing to travel extensively throughout the region.
Proven track record of managing and winning technical high value IT security opportunities
Successful quota achievement

Desirable:
Prior experience of CISCO Security or Sourcefire solutions is advantage
Highly motivated self starter
Previous experience working at a security vendor

Education /Qualifications:
Degree or equivalent qualification
8+ years in a comparable pre-sales position supporting the pre-sales cycle in Networking or IT Security solutions
3 years management/leadership
