As Google Fiber Real Estate Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for securing the business-to-business partnerships with national developers, property management companies, and Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) that are crucial to Fiber’s rollout in your assigned market.
You will ensure we have partnerships in place that give Google Fiber access to install our infrastructure in multi-family apartment buildings, office buildings, and other real estate asset types. More than “just a sales role,” you will build relationships with the real estate developers, owners, ecosystem partners, and influencers in your assigned market to create a groundswell and build the foundation for Fiber’s regional business. This includes shaping our go-to-market strategy and being a leader, both internally and externally, for Google.
You will excel at market strategy and narrative development, while cultivating a strong base of new partnerships and working with a broad collection of cross-functional teams to devise solutions to meet customer needs. You possess strong relationship-building skills and are driven to create opportunities where our partners, subscribers, and Google Fiber (and the region!) benefit.
And, of course, you know how to close agreements. You are a storyteller who knows how to communicate Google’s vision to senior-level stakeholders. You can advocate our efforts. You don’t have to be a real estate expert, but you you do need to be a creative problem solver and a consultative thinker that can put yourself in the mindset of a real estate executive and help them see that the future is now.

Responsibilities
Identify partners that align with Google Fiber’s footprint and relate our value proposition to the goals of their business.
Create partnerships and agreements with property owners, developers and managers that gain access to Google Fiber to serve multi-family and commercial property residents/tenants.
Market Google Fiber’s products and resources to industry influencers, the real estate community and business owners.Represent Google Fiber at industry conferences.
Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits to prospective national property management and development companies.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of work experience in business development and/or sales.
Experience launching new markets.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with presenting in front of large audiences, and developing your own narrative and presentation slides.
Experience sourcing, structuring, communicating, and negotiating partnership terms/agreements.
Skilled in collaborating with legal partners and negotiating contracts.
Comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to thoughtfully push initiatives forward (bias towards action).
An ability to balance scrappiness with professionalism
Excellent written and oral communication, with great interpersonal skills.
