We are looking for program managers for Manufacturing, Retail/Consumer Goods, and Financial Services
Industry Program Manager – Retail/Consumer Goods, Microsoft Services Industry Solutions Team
As a Program Manager within a sector of the of the Microsoft Services Industry Solutions Team, you will be responsible for creating and delivering industry offerings globally for a particular sector. This includes:

• Setting and executing Services’ offering strategy for industry solutions within a particular sub-vertical within the sector that includes the entire lifecycle of solutions from pre-sales through ongoing support and consumption/adoption
• Ensuring alignment with industry teams across Microsoft, most notably the Enterprise & Partner Group (EPG) Industry Team and the Cloud and Enterprise (C&E) Industry Team regarding prioritized scenarios and products
• Working closely with Integrated Solutions Marketing, Priority Areas, and Enterprise Strategy (among other Services teams) to collaborate on scenarios
• Defining Microsoft Services’ value proposition and messaging for industry solutions within the sub-vertical
• Managing the harvesting and creation of horizontal solutions to support industry solutions for global reuse within the sector
• Defining and building the readiness roadmap for training marketers and sellers on industry solutions within the sector
• Working with and managing the hand-off to the Industry Delivery team and the delivery Domains
• Supporting our external partner and ISV strategy for industry, working with Developer Experience (DX) team, Worldwide Partner Team, and Product Group/Business Group Partner Teams


Required Expertise
• At least 10 years of professional experience in management consulting, offering/product strategy, marketing, sales, technology implementation, or related field
• Deep expertise in the industry and sub-vertical of coverage such as selling and/or implementing industry-based solutions for multiple customers within an industry
• Technical acumen across multiple Microsoft technologies including Azure, Dynamics, O365, devices, Power BI/analytics, etc.
• Architectural understanding of how solutions can be integrated across the Microsoft stack
• Demonstrated track record of effective communication with technical and business leaders at all levels within large enterprises and (for internal candidates) within Microsoft Business Groups, Partner Groups and Sales organizations
• Proven ability to transfer industry and market knowledge gained from customer engagements to account teams and other Microsoft constituencies
• Experience with executing plans with field marketing and sales organizations
• Global experience across several markets
• Multi-language a plus
• Relevant undergraduate degree and /or equivalent work experience. Master’s Degree preferred
• Up to 20% travel required
