We are looking for Industry Architects for Manufacturing, Retail/Consumer Goods, and Financial Services.
Industry Architect – Manufacturing, Microsoft Services Industry Solutions Team
As an Industry Architect within a sector of the of the Microsoft Services Industry Solutions Team, you will be responsible for architecting and orchestrating (perhaps even developing) industry offerings globally for a particular sector – Manufacturing. This includes:

• Ensuring that the offerings that are prioritized by the program managers are technically sound and repeatable
• Designing integration patterns that are reusable across industry solutions
• Working with Domain architects to harvest and manage industry-oriented IP
• Ensuring alignment with product and architecture teams across Microsoft, most notably the EPG Industry Team architects, Domain Architects, Cross-Domain Architects, and Digital Architects regarding prioritized scenarios and products
• Contracting with and managing technical resources required to build offering accelerators (repeatable components that decrease implementation time but are not products)
• Managing the harvesting and creation of intellectual property (IP) to support industry solutions for global reuse within the sector
• Participating in technical readiness for the industry solutions
• Supporting our external partner and ISV strategy for industry, working with Developer Experience (DX) team, Worldwide Partner Team, and Product Group/Business Group Partner Teams


Required Expertise
• At least 10 years of professional experience in business or solution architecture such as leading the technical design on large-scale enterprise implementations
• Deep expertise in the industry and sub-vertical of coverage such as selling and/or implementing industry-based solutions for multiple customers within an industry
• Deep technical acumen across multiple Microsoft technologies including Azure, Dynamics, O365, devices, Power BI/analytics, etc.
• Architectural understanding of how solutions can be integrated across the Microsoft stack
• Proven ability to transfer industry and market knowledge gained from customer engagements to account teams and other Microsoft constituencies
• Global experience across several markets
• Multi-language a plus
• Relevant undergraduate degree and /or equivalent work experience. Master’s Degree preferred
• Up to 20% global travel required
