Amazon is looking for a customer obsessed and entrepreneurial senior leader to run Marketing and Third Party (3P) Marketplace for Amazon's Lawn & Garden store. The Lawn & Garden team is focused on delivering a world-class customer experience in a fast-growing category with white space opportunity in marketing to new customer segments. In addition to marketing, this leader will be responsible for the Lawn & Garden 3rd party marketplace business. The role offers the unique opportunity to own a P&L while also driving large scale, high visibility projects across many different Amazon teams to build a world class customer experience. This position will be accountable for expanding and supporting best in class market research and business intelligence used to create, launch and continually iterate on programs that meet defined business objectives. It requires strong business acumen, deep curiosity about customer behavior, excellent influencing skills, and the analytical horsepower to make key strategic business decisions for Amazon.

You must be a self-starter with strong analytical ability, attention to detail, excellent communication skills and an ability to drive innovative programs involving multiple stakeholders. We have shifted our marketing focus from manual merchandising and events to strategic programs, including Amazon Business.

You will be responsible for managing awareness as well as customer acquisition and retention initiatives across a broad range of online and offline marketing channels. In this role you will be expected to flex both analytical skills and creative muscles.

As a Manager, Marketing and 3P your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Leading a team of leaders
2. Defining and managing the annual marketing plan and budget
3. Owning the creation of marketing strategies across channels to drive traffic
4. Creating, testing and iterating on innovative new ideas to improve customer experience
5. Identifying and leading opportunities for broad customer experience improvements
6. Measuring and monitoring program effectiveness over time
7. Driving coop marketing programs with internal and external stakeholders
8. Category Strategy and Ownership: Work closely with Category Leadership and marketplace business development teams on planning and business strategy, drive best-in-class customer experience and maximize unit and revenue growth through timely analysis and action
9. Building and maintaining relationships with key stake holders outside of the Lawn & Garden organization
Basic Qualifications

· 7+ years of experience working in marketing, including launching large scale strategic programs and campaigns
· People leader of large teams
· Ability to analyze, communicate and present metrics effectively to support recommendations
· Results-oriented with relentlessly high standards
· Demonstrated track record of succeeding in entrepreneurial or a fast-moving environment
· Ability to collaborate across the team including vendor management (sales) and product management
· High proficiency with Excel (pivot tables)
· Bachelor’s degree
Preferred Qualifications

· MBA
· Strong track record of shaping business strategy to meet the demands of a rapidly growing business
· Knowledge of SQL or Tableau a plus
