Director Retail Allocation Under Armour Baltimore

The Director of Retail Allocation is responsible for successfully leading all aspects of the Allocation and Store Planning functions within the North America Factory House Business. As part of a rapidly growing and dynamic business, this key leadership role is expected to drive business results through the development, implementation and ongoing management of world class retail teams, tools and processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Lead the development, implementation and evolution of world class allocation and store planning tools and processes
Create a collaborative, innovative and results oriented environment
Develop and execute store level allocation and replenishment strategies that maximize sales, profitability and efficiency
Develop and implement robust store planning capabilities including store clusters, capacities and forecasts
Analyze business trends to deliver actionable insights, maximize business and mitigate risk
Partner with Supply Chain to develop and implement retail specific strategies and initiatives
Conduct hindsight analysis to identify key learnings for inclusion in future plans
Foster strong relationships with field partners to facilitate feedback and maximize allocation/replenishment strategy effectiveness
Build, develop and retain a world class team

Demonstrated expertise in retail allocation, planning and inventory management
Exceptional strategic thinker. Demonstrated ability to vision the future state, test hypotheses, and synthesize facts and insights into concrete, actionable strategies and tactical plans
Strong analytical skills; the ability to analyze complex quantitative data and utilize in making solid decisions
Excellent communicator, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization. Keen ability to distill complex ideas into simpler frameworks and illustrations
Ability to build and develop teams, set challenging standards, and lead others to action
Strong prioritization and multi-tasking abilities
Highly proficient in Microsoft office applications with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
Advanced knowledge of Retail Math including intricacies of Open to Buy, gross margin, inventory flow and cost movement, etc.

Education and/or Experience
BA/BS degree in Finance, Business or a related field
8-10 years progressive allocation/distribution management experience in specialty or outlet retail
