You will lead the internal Cisco media team and the agency media team on this journey. Encourage them to push boundaries, take risks, and exceed expectations. You will be given the autonomy to decide what capabilities should be brought in-house and then recruit top-notch talent to match those needs.
Find innovative ways to plan and buy media (awareness through demand generation) that starts with deep customer insights. Then, blend your strategy, technology, and media channels to amplify engagement, optimize media performance and increase customer satisfaction with communications.
Collaborate with internal colleagues and global agencies to create a holistic working model that combines media channels, content, and digital experiences to deliver customer value and results.
You will be empowered to design and lead media research and development, focusing on quick-win activation and long-term strategic shift. Bring new thinking and fresh ways to infuse
dynamic targeting and content to increase relevance, personalization, and effectiveness.
Keep measurement, data, and insights at the core of all your work. We will encourage you to identify and adopt new ways that data can inform and produce insights to improve in market investment and future campaigns. About You
Our ideal candidate has 10+ years of agency or client-side experience in effective global team management and the associated operating models and processes. You have proven your ability to build and manage high performing teams in a globally dispersed model.
You possess the gravitas and credibility to shape what media means at Cisco and to become the authoritative, go-to source for all things regarding the topic. You have experience delivering exceptional results today while re-tooling the model for tomorrow. You balance change and long-term vision with day-to-day results. You have proven results in an environment that is changing. You are versatile, flexible, and have the ability to be creative when priorities shift.
You focus on data, analytics, and measurement. You are agile and relentlessly chase constant improvement. You have deep familiarity with programmatic advertising and hands-on experience with ad tech tools.
You have high-quality, industry savvy relationships and create “win-win” partnerships. You always promote a positive and collaborative effort when working with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and agencies.
You have previous experience with technology companies and promoting business-to-business brands.
You are willing to travel to visit domestic and international Cisco and agency teams.
Bachelor’s degree in related field is required.
