WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Development Manager for McKinsey Solutions Org Solutions will be responsible for building a world-class engineering organization. We are looking for a seasoned leader with a deep, hands-on background in leading development teams to build multiple software products, ideally in a service organization model - a technology leader deeply connected in the market and with the ability to network and attract top talent to his/her team.
Key responsibilities include:
Establish current and long-range engineering objectives, plans, and policies for McKinsey Solutions – Org Solutions
Build a high-performing engineering team to ship cutting edge software
Create technical budgets and resource allocation and resource acquisition plans to align with the functional and business goals and objectives
Interact with leadership to develop a suitable engineering approach to delivering high quality product and individual engineering plans that ensure timely ongoing software releases and new product builds in order to meet overall business growth, revenue and cost targets
Provide a coordinated view of strategic software builds across our Org Solutions products
Implement engineering metrics that offer transparency into engineering performance and implement a robust process to quickly address issues and implement corrective actions
Be a senior technical representative at events and meetings with major customers and suppliers
Maintain an understanding of technical trends, customer trends, and competitive product
