Design Program Managers at Facebook are passionate connectors and problem solvers. We support all operational aspects of the Product Design team to improve team communication, remove roadblocks, proactively identify issues before they impact the team and ensure the design team can spend their time making great products.
As a DPM for Instagram, you will help us both scale our capacity while increasing the quality of our work. Operationally, you are hyper-organized but flexible, a great communicator, cool under pressure, and a proactive driver of programs and process. You will manage and prioritize many requests and build a talented design resource pool to support work. Most importantly, you have a great appreciation for craft and design. You will enable great work to happen by ensuring obstacles are removed, and plans are organized and clear so that our designers have time to focus on what they do best - design.
