As a Regional Partner Sales Leader you will have the exciting opportunity to help shape the future of AWS and evolve our North American consulting partner ecosystem. Your responsibilities will include managing a team that will work closely with Central area sales teams to drive revenue, adoption, and market penetration in accounts within AWS' Central area; collaborating closely with AWS partners.
The partner development management team will pursue and develop the most appropriate and capable partners to identify new business opportunities, create market-relevant solutions, increase joint market penetration and accelerate migration to AWS. In addition to close sales alignment, this position will work closely with solutions architecture, professional services, customer support, business development and partner program teams.
The ideal candidate will possess a technology partner sales management background and/or sales background that enables him/her to lead a team of senior partner development managers engaged with regional, national and global partners at all levels of the partner’s business. He/she should also be a self-starter who is prepared to own, define, develop and execute a geographic partner plan in close collaboration with the Central area sales lead, and can closely map partner capabilities to customer needs and can guide teams to consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets.
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption
· Drive partner revenue and market share in a defined region.
· Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets.
· Develop and execute a comprehensive regional partner plan in coordination with Central sales leads
· Prioritize Central area Demand Generation campaigns and field events across multiple partners in coordination with field and partner marketing
· Maintain a robust pipeline of partner-generated and partner-influenced opportunities to accelerate customer adoption.
· Manage contract negotiations as appropriate
· Develop long-term strategic relationships with key partners in the Central area to ensure customer satisfaction and revenue growth
· Create monthly executive summaries of Central business impact
· Moderate travel, approximately 30%

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Minimum of 10+ years of technology related partner sales or business development experience.
· 8+ years of partner sales management experience working for technology companies who sell enterprise solutions
· BA/BS degree required.
· Strong verbal and written communications skills.
· Prior experience working with Systems Integrators and/or Consulting Companies
· Existing partner relationships in AWS' Central area
· Proven leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
· A technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS
· Successful cloud-related partner experience preferred
· Prior Consulting and System Integrator delivery experience
· Direct sales experience with Enterprise customers
