Subscriber Acquisition Product Specialist Google Fiber Mountain View

As a Product Specialist, you will be responsible for understanding how our Fiber products are being used across all markets and what capabilities are needed to meet our customer needs and our sales team’s needs. In particular you will be working with our retail store brand ambassadors, field sales associates, and inbound call center associates to determine new product requirements and help manage them into the product roadmap and through to successful launch to our sales associates and end customers
You will partner with the Training team to drive scaled trainings on upcoming launches and changes that impact our go to market strategy.

With your insight and demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership, you will work with product and engineering to influence the product roadmap and align in-market, product specialists for other functions, and Marketing teams on common goals.

Responsibilities
Develop in depth product expertise and an excellent understanding of the market landscape for all of our Google Fiber customer-facing products and all of the product we use to enable our front-line facing team (e.g. marketing tools, call center platform tools).
Aggregate and prioritize product requirements and customer/stakeholder needs across all core Sales and Business organization functions - which primarily include field sales, retail and inbound call center.
Partner cross-functionally with product marketing, product specialists for other functions, and in-market teams to drive successful scaled product launches that drive increased customer acquisition.
Communicate product and feature launches as a part of our overall go to market strategy.
Plan and execute launch strategy and commercialization efforts to drive increased acquisitions.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in sales, business development or consulting.

Preferred qualifications:
MBA degree or equivalent practical experience in product management.
Experience collaborating and communicating with diverse technical and business stakeholders at all levels.
Knowledge of internet service provider market, the TV content market and/or inbound call center/field sales processes.
Ability to work independently on project deliverables, in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and good analytical ability to make data-driven decisions.
Proven ability to influence counterparts in Product, Sales, Marketing and Operations.
Excellent written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
