In this highly visible role as a big data senior engineer in data analytic platform team you will:
• Drive all aspects of software engineering, architecture and delivery of data analytic capabilities to Cisco collaboration solution customers, partners, as well as internal operations, technical support, and customer success organizations
• Be responsible for all aspects of building a self serve analytic platform within an agile & highly productive software engineering team.
• Shape the strategic future of the data analytic platform architecture
Qualifications:
• bachelor Degree or higher in Statistics, Computer Science or Mathematics with courses completed on the Machine Learning, Statistics, Prediction algorithms and/or related areas
• 7+ years of experiences on industrial analytical areas especially big data analytic (Statistical Modeling, Machine Learning and Predictive Analysis).
• Having knowledge on the Statistics, Predictive Analysis and Modeling, Machine Learning and/or related areas, and having projected completed on those areas.
• Hands on and extensive knowledge of Data Technologies, such as Hadoop, Hive, Apache Spark, Apache Kafka and ElasticSearch.
• Having advanced SQL knowledge and skills, can write Hive/SQL queries for retrieving the data from the data repository DB.
• Having data visualization and representation skills.
• Experience developing data-driven analytical models of various operations / policies.
• Strong Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes (Agile, Scrum)
• Experience in working with teams around the globe
• Team player, strong work ethic and excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Self driven and result oriented
