We are looking for a strong Residential Loans Director level candidate who possesses good analytical, organizational and multi-tasking skills. The candidate for this role will sit on the Residential team, and be responsible for management of team work. The candidate should also possess strong interpersonal skills as they will liaise with internal departments and external counterparties.
- Manage day-to-day processing, such as daily loan fundings, servicing oversight, loan purchases/sales and collateral management
- Manage and review, create and update detailed and standardized procedures and controls over daily processes
- Recognize and escalate issues to actively mitigate the risk to the Firm
- Understand and anticipate client and business unit needs across divisions/globally in order to provide excellent service
- Ability to manage a team with multiple skill sets
QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior Residential Loan work experience is preferred
- Experience relating to daily processing, demonstrating an understanding of prioritization and time management
- Interpersonal skills, ability to build and maintain strong relationships within the GLS department and across business units
- Analytical skills, to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources and reconcile variances
- The candidate should clearly demonstrate a high level of self-motivation to pursue operational excellence
- Ability to work independently and in a fast paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Delivery focused with the ability to meet tight deadlines
